A lmighty Father,
creator of heaven and earth,
who spoke into chaos, order;
into darkness, light;
and into emptiness, life;
grant unto us a renewal of spirit,
that in our own chaos you bring order,
in our own darkness you bring light,
and in our own emptiness you bring life,
allowing that we may be agents of light and life in the midst of a broken creation,
so that all may encounter the life-transforming,
life-restoring,
life-sustaining reality of the New Creation in Jesus Christ
through the grace, and power, and presence of the Holy Spirit.
