Context is everything. This incorporates the immediate text, but it also goes much deeper, to encompassing the author, audience, and purpose for any given book in Scripture. With that in mind, I have put together this free resource for your use. It is, essentially, a snapshot overview of the scholarship surrounding each book of the New Testament, compiled from three well-respected publications in Biblical scholarship. This resource is free for you to use and share, provided you do not alter or sell any of the information contained therein. With that said, I hope this blesses you. Ah, this will fit very nicely into my study binder! The design is clear and easily accessible for quick reference. Cited, too.
Nicely done, Sir!
I have been wondering, though, at the difference between the short version and long version of Mark 16. Do you have a good reference that discusses the extant source texts with regard to their inclusion in the canon? Thanks! I am really enjoying your site.

Let me look. I have some really good commentaries on Mark that go into that discussion, and I think Raymond Brown’s NT Introduction deals with it as well. Let me go through my library and I will pull you some sources.
